Former Miss California Carrie Prejean who became a right-wing martyr after voicing her disdain for same-sex marriage during the 2009 Miss USA pageant is back in the news on two fronts. Newlywed Prejean and her NFL QB husband Kyle Boller, who married in early July, are expecting their first child together FOX411 reports:
“We are just so excited,” said Prejean, who is three months along. “I’m due in May on my grandmother’s birthday. She recently passed away, so that’s very special to us.”
Prejean, 23, and Boiler, 29, say they began trying for a family about a month after marriage, and hope to learn the sex of the baby next week.
Meanwhile Carrie’s attorney is preparing to wage war against the organization that ousted his client. Recall that Prejean sued pageant officials for religious discrimination, but withdrew the lawsuit in November when an “extremely graphic” solo performance sex tape, apparently was revealed to exist. Prejean’s lawyer Charles LiMandri has filed a lawsuit against Miss California USA executives Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler, and their lawyer, accusing them all of feeding top secret information to various news outlets, in particular, TMZ. According to the docs, LiMandri claims the two sides agreed that everything that took place during the mediation was to be kept private. But accurate details involving everything from negotiation tactics .. to the fact that Carrie’s mom actually watched the footage of Carrie’s solo exploits were quickly reported by TMZ.
