here were 30 angels at Victoria’s Secret 2010 Fashion Show held on Wednesday night in New York CIty, but Liu Wen (photos below), a top model from China, is the only angel with an Asian face on the event.
Although this was the second time for her to walk the runway for Victoria”s Secret Fashion Show and she already had some fame in the fashion industry, it seems Liu Wen is still rather a new face for some media.
Supermodels like Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Isabel Goulart, Selita Ebank and so on are the most reported Angels of today’s fashion news, and Liu Wen was missed in some reports, possibly because she was not known to many. One example, PR Photos, the image agency from which HCG obtains licensed pictures, is yet to update her name info on their site.

Liu Wen was born in 1988 in China’s Hunan Province. In 2005, the 17-year-old who was then studying as a tour guide was attracted by New Silkroad Models Contest’s winning prize – a laptop – unexpectedly, such an innocent idea eventually led her to the top model in China, but of course, she’d thank Frenchman Joseph Carle who discovered her in 2006.
