A source tells that publication Joe had little choice but to end things because “Demi’s attitude and behavior were out of control.” This insider goes on to refer to Demi as “a tortured mess."

Lovato's struggles hit a climax on a plane out of Peru, as has already been detailed. She believed backup dancer Alex Welch had tattled on her partying habits and, according to this story:

"Walked onto the plane, did not look at the girl, then suddenly punched her in the face and threatened her with a slew of expletives. Demi’s manager asked her, ‘Are you in control at all?’ She said, ‘Sorry, I just lost it.’”

From there, Demi agreed to seek treatment - and now we're all rooting for her to get better.

Despite mediocre performances all season, Bristol Palin has made it to the final four on Dancing With the Stars, and might not even be done this week.
"I can't believe it's been three months already," she said. Heading into tonight's waltz and paso doble double-dip, she says "I'm pretty confident now."
That confidence should come in handy this week, when the Pistol and partner Mark Ballas perform routines she describes as fierce and "pretty sexy."
The challenge, she admits, is that "I'm not a sexy girl."

"I work my butt off," she adds, dismissing any conspiracy theories surrounding her unexpectedly long run on the show, saying it's all about effort.
Besides, for every voter that would vote for her because she's her mother's daughter, "Think about all the people who hate my mom!" she said.
That's a fair point.

They've all received the comic book treatment on their own, but Kristen Stewart,Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will soon come together and be featured in a new Bluewater Productions release.
That company has found major success with its Fame series, a group of graphic novels that has also honored Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber among other celebrities.

On December 1, meanwhile, fans will have a chance to purchase a compilation of previously released Fame editions, each having given followers unparalleled access to these Twilight stars. The new installment will aptly be titled "The Cast of Twilight."
The comic will track the rise to stardom of all these actors/actresses, along with a history of Twilight author Stephenie Meyer.

 Jessica Simpson:Engaged to Eric Johnson

Not to be outdone by Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson is getting married again. Congrats to the alleged singer and former mediocre NFL player Eric Johnson!
We kid, of course. Truly, we are so happy for Jess, whose rep confirmed the news earlier today, saying: "Yes, we are excited to confirm they are engaged!"
The couple began dating in May, after being introduced by friends. Ever since, Eric and Jessica have been seen getting cozy across the U.S. and beyond.

Explaining how well their relationship was going, Simpson told People last month she is just so inspired by Eric Johnson: "This is just normal, thank God. He's very, very supportive. [I] couldn't ask for a better man in my life right now."
Asked if Johnson were the one, she replied: "I never go to that because I already went there, so, I'm not gonna jinx myself. He's the one for me right now! I'm very happy, I'm in a great place and if right now could last forever, I'd take it."
She already went there, of course, with Nick Lachey, who also just got engaged to Vanessa Mannillo this month. Guess she didn't want to be outdone!

Did Oksana Lie About Mel Gibson Abuse?

She says he's an abusive monster, but verbal abuse aside, there's been scant proof of any physical attacks, with a whole lot of credibility issues raised.
Case in point? A pediatrician who examined the child of Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva the day after their fight saw no evidence Lucia was injured.
That's contrary to Oksana's claims that Mel  hit both of them

Dr. Linda Nussbaum, who examined Lucia January 7, never mentioned an injury to the baby's chin, which Oksana now claims Mel Gibson inflicted.
Dr. Nussbaum says, "...I did not see any symptoms of trauma, abuse, bruising, redness or injury on her face, head or elsewhere on her body."
Makes you wonder.
Oksana is alleging Mel struck and injured the child during an explosive argument. The Mel Gibson tapes were recorded about a month afterward.
Dr. Nussbaum says at the time, "Ms. Grigorieva did not state to me that Lucia had suffered any trauma, abuse or injury of any kind." Interesting.
Furthermore, Mel's side believes a photo Oksana Grigorieva is using in the custody case - showing a mark on Lucia's chin - has been doctored.

Emma Watson's Fair-Minded Design Deal

 

Emma Watson has great fashion sense...duh!

So it's no surprise that the Harry Potter star got a call from a certain designer asking to team up on a new project...

Impressed with what the 20-year-old did with her organic clothing line People Tree, Alberta Ferretti gave Watson a call and asked if she'd want to team up with the Italian label on a new eco-friendly collection.

"She wrote to me and said, 'I saw what you did with People Tree and I think it's a great idea and will you do something with me?'" Watson told USWeekly, describing the aesthetic as "very classic, 60s Jane Birkin."

Well, that certainly worked for Hèrmes.

"I will put it out there that I will work for anyone for free if they are prepared to make their clothing fair trade organic," Watson said.

She can't reveal the name yet, but there will be more information about it soon, she promised.

The collection is expected to be in stores right before the final installment in the Harry Potter series hits theaters.

LeAnn Rimes Wishes Engaged Ex a "Life Full of Happiness"

 

It looks like LeAnn Rimes and her ex are still on the same page.

"Congrats to @deansheremet and @sarah silver on your engagement!" the songbird tweeted Saturday in response to news that her ex-husband is ready to take the plunge again.

"A little birdie told me the happy news last night. Wishes for a life full of happiness."

Sheremet popped the question Friday at the Manhattan apartment he shares with Sarah Silver, according to Us Weekly, which first reported the betrothal. He moved in with the photographer in July, a month after he and Rimes were officially over after seven years of marriage.

Rimes has obviously moved on— way on—since then, so it's no surprise that she sounds happy as a clam to hear that Sheremet is in a good place, too.

"My congrats is from my heart," she tweeted to a skeptical follower. "Sorry if you don't understand it. I do not need the publicity, I get plenty. please stop passing judgement."

And to another fan: "Why would anyone be unhappy that someone they've loved in their life has found love again?? People just want to be negative!"

Lindsay Lohan Busts Out of Rehab?...Not So Fast

 

Lindsay Lohan  was spotted at her West Hollywood condo Saturday, but no worries…her rehab days aren't over just yet.

The 24-year-old Mean Girls star reportedly received a day pass from the Betty Ford Center for good behavior, which allowed her spend a day away from the rehabbing compound.

Lohan's longtime assistant Eleonore whisked the starlet away from her Betty Ford-supervised home in Rancho Mirage Saturday morning around 8:20 a.m., a source tells E! News. The duo arrived at Lohan's condo around 10 a.m., where Lohan hopped out of the vehicle wearing black leggings, a blue flannel top and black boots.

While Lohan wasn't accompanied by a Betty Ford counselor, sober partner or family member, a source tells E! News, "She is heading back tonight" to her home at Betty Ford. 

Lohan is scheduled to remain at the rehab facility until January 3rd.

But, says the duo, like their so-called divorce, the emotions that came across during their wedding episode were all "fake." Now the couple plan to renew their vows and get a fresh start at married life.

"It was a movie, it was a script and it didn't feel right," Pratt tells Entertainment Tonight of the Hills marriage hoopla. "No one in that building wanted us to get married. It was a nightmare."

Adds Montag, "We had just gone through so much crazy stuff personally and through our jobs and everything, so for me this feels like our first real marriage. Like our first restart. We deserve a second chance at our marriage and really having this moment and not being robbed of this."

Although she says she's not the type to strip down when she's cleaning, if you catch her "just walking around the house," she says you might just find her in her birthday suit. ("Sometimes ...," she teases.)

But there is one role she won't be going nude for: her rumored portrayal of Oprah Winfrey.

Berry says she was never actually approached for that role and that she doesn't "know where these rumors come from."

"I'm not going to play Oprah. No, I was like, 'Hey, Oprah, am I playing you? Just tell me because nobody has told me this,' " she says. "Not that I wouldn't want to play Oprah if there was a movie. I just don't know how this stuff gets made up."

Justin Bieber Suffers 'Busted' Knee During Concert

The pop star, 16, injured his knee during his concert Thursday night in Cleveland, Ohio.

"Busted my knee last night in the middle of the show," Bieber Tweeted. "Not fun. Finished the show with a sweet limp."

But the Biebs is "feeling blessed" after a little TLC from mom.

"Knee is swollen today but all good," he wrote. "Spending quality time with @studiomama."

Demi Lovato's Disney TV Show Gets a Readjustment

While Demi Lovato rides the road to recovery in treatment for what her rep called "emotional and physical issues," the star's TV vehicle is being realigned.

The Disney Channel and producers of her 'tween series Sonny with a Chance have decided on a temporary adjustment – allowing the spotlight to fall on the popular show within the show, So Random!.

This switch enables the production's third season to resume in January as scheduled and "allows [Demi] the time she needs to get well, without distraction or pressure," a Disney Channel spokeswoman tells Variety. "Again, we extend our ongoing support to Demi and her family as she works to overcome personal issues."

At the end of last month, Lovato, 18, dropped out of the Jonas Brothers tour and "decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help," her rep told PEOPLE. "She regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future."

Jennifer Love Hewitt says she has reason to be smitten with her new beau, Alex Beh: He's handsome, he opens doors for her – and he'll come in handy on Thanksgiving.

Kanye West says there's NO WAY he's returning to the Today show later this month, as he was scheduled to do, after his testy interview with Matt Lauer this week.
A few hours ago, he Tweeted"I'm not performing on the Today Show for obvious reasons. I'm so happy the world got to see just a small piece of 'the set up.'"
In this week's interview, Kanye's infamous criticism of George W Bush was rehashed by Lauer, but what ticked the rapper off was video clips aired by Today.

There was no love lost on the Today set this week.

Kanye grew increasingly agitated when the show aired footage of W.'s pained reaction to West's post-Katrina remarks and later of the Taylor Swift VMA incident.
At the end of that interview, Lauer said he still expected Kanye to do their show on Black Friday, as scheduled, but a rep confirms that Kanye's officially out.

Actor Mel Gibson has been going through a bad phase of his life ever since allegations on his personal life has surfaced in the media. The actor has been in and out of courts lately, with the next date set on the 22nd of November. During his last visit to the court this Wednesday, Mel Gibson was photographed shedding tears for his one-year-old daughter Lucia while he was testifying on the court stands. Speaking during the court hearing, Mel Gibson was heard saying that he not only loves Lucia but also his other children.
On the other hand, the Hollywood actor’s ex girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva was heard saying that the one-year-old daughter Lucia showed strange patterns of behavior after every visit to her father. Oksana Grigorieva felt that the child became somewhat “funny” whenever she came back after visiting Mel Gibson, though she could not explain the meaning of the word “funny”. Oksana has also been criticized for her habit of revealing the behavioral patterns of the one-year-old child Lucia to the media.
Oksana Grigorieva will be present in the courtroom during the subsequent hearings in court, the first of which has been scheduled on the 22nd of this month, claimed reports in the media. The next session will decide the visitation rights of the actor and his ex girlfriend to meet Lucia.

John Mayer denies affair rumors

A representative for John Mayer has dismissed a tabloid report that claimed the rocker was having an affair with married ‘Food Network’ star Giada De Laurentiis.

“The claims are absolutely ridiculous,” the Daily Express quoted the rep as saying.

The musician, who has previously dated Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson, was linked to De Laurentiis after an article published in Star magazine this week suggested they enjoyed a night out together in New York.

Being the hot buzz around town this award season with her film “Black Swan,” Natalie Portman is flexing her muscle as a screenwriter.
The actress is shopping around a raunchy girl comedy with her college pal Laura Moses called “BYO” (aka Bring Your Own). The Los Angeles Times had the news.
“BYO” centers around two twentysomething women who are so desperate, they throw a party whereby female attendees bring fetching single guys. Studio execs who’ve read the script call it a “Superbad” for girls. Sounds like Portman’s buddy Adam Samberg from “Saturday Night Live” is rubbing off on her.
Portman would headline as one of the females with Anne Hathaway interested in the second role. Many Hollywood studios have passed on the project, but it could still get produced through indie backing or partial studio funding.
The edgy “Black Swan” bows on December 3.

With the event being held at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, the "El Cantante" couple both looked charming as they worked the arrivals area before heading inside for the swanky ceremony.

Always a well attended event, the Latin Grammy's also drew out the likes of "10,000 B.C." actress Camilla Belle, as well as fellow Latin stars including Mala Rodriguez, Charo, Estrella and Pavel Nunez .
During the course of the evening, numerous stars were honored including Alejandro Sanz for the Best Male Pop Vocal Album and Jesus Alberto Miranda Perez and Miguel Ignacio Mendoza of Chino y Nacho for the Best Urban Music Album.

 Ali Larter won't be sending Snooki or Teresa Giudice a Christmas card.
In a recent discussion with E! News, the beautiful actress says she isn't a fan of reality shows that depict her native New Jersey in a negative, stereotypical light.
"I've seen a couple of them and I feel like it's such a terrible depiction of our lovely Garden State," said the former Heroes star, who is due to give birth on Christmas.

Sorry, Snooki and Teresa. But we're on Ali Larter's side because... well,she's anything but a grenade.

Is Larter saying there are no guidos or guidettes in the region?

"There's definitely some guidos in New Jersey, but where I grew up it's like the cranberry bogs, the forests, and the farm... going apple picking and rolling green hills," she said.

Larter concluded her mini rant by labeling Jersey as "beautiful and amazing." Coming from someone who looks like this, she is an expert in these areas.

Tina Fey To Be Honored In DC

 According to sources the Saturday Night Live Comics will celebrate Tina Fey best known for her Emmy Award winning impression of Sarah Palin when she receives the nation’s top humor prize Tuesday at the Kennedy Center.
There will be several actors on hand to congratulate and homor the comic. At forty Tina Fey is the youngest to receive the Mark Twain Prize for American humor since its creation in 1998. She’s the third woman to receive it after Lily Tomlin and Whoopi Goldberg.
When the prize was announced, Tina Fey hinted she didn’t feel worthy, joking that she assumed Betty White should have gotten it. Although sources claim she is very excited and humbled about receiving such an honor. Tina Fey got her start with Chicago’s the Second City improv group. She worked on SNL for nine seasons and went on to create the NBC comedy series 30 Rock, in which she stars with Alec Baldwin. On the big screen, Tina Fey recently starred in Date Night and is featured with her voice in the new film Mega Mind, which debuted at number one in theaters and box offices last weekend. Now Tina Fey is working on her first book, a memoir due out next year. She lives in New York with her husband and her daughter.
The honor really came as a pleasant surprise and a shock as she didn’t feel as though she deserved it. Although as stated above she is excited about receiving such an award now. Many different actors that will be on hand to let her know she is worthy.

 Angelina Jolie says her 6-year-old son Pax is a better cook than she is.
The actress opens up about her home life, including Pax's culinary skills, in the December issue of Vogue magazine.
In the article, readers get a glimpse inside the Jolie-Pitt household with its six kids, bulldog named Jacques and nannies who speak Vietnamese to Pax and Cambodian to Maddox.
Jolie says she feels her oldest son Maddox, now 9, almost raised her in a way. She adopted him in 2001. Maddox seems aware of his mother's feelings. He encourages her when she cooks breakfast, saying "Good job!"
She also talks about daughter Shiloh, who recently found a dead bird and wanted to keep it for a pet. Jolie's answer: find a bird from a taxidermist instead.
Jolie shares some of those "every mom" struggles that parents everywhere can identify with. She and longtime partner Brad Pitt make sure one of them is always home with the kids while the other is working.
What makes Jolie different, of course, is the paparazzi follows wherever she and Pitt go.
She's chosen to navigate Hollywood her way, without an agent or a publicist — which is rare — especially for an A-list actress.
As for Pitt, Jolie addresses him as "extremely handsome and the most sexy," but feels most in love when she sees him with their six kids.
